Updated Software Now Available

Sounds Active ESE version 1.0.8 is now available.  This update allows the software to run on the latest operating systems – up to Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.11 (El Capitan).  It also fixes a bug that can cause the software to crash during lessons involving the Sounds Active Multitracker.

We recommend you use version 1.0.8 for all new installs or if you have experienced any of the problems listed below:

  • Unexpected crashes
  • “Black boxes” appearing in place of virtual equipment
  • Software failing to unlock permanently on Macs
  • Sound not routing to default output device on Macs
  • Sounds Active ESE not appearing on desktop or start menu in Windows
